ABOUT ME:

I am a Romanian-born film director and producer based in Amsterdam.

I am interested in exploring identity through multi-layered stories about individuals and communities.

-Master's in Documentary Film at Babeṣ-Bolyai University Cluj-Napoca (2019);

-Digital Filmmaking at SAE Amsterdam (2009).

• 30th of April to 11th of May 2025: Filmwerkstatt documentary film workshop, as co-director, co-cinematographer, co-editor of collaborative documentary "Encounter", Vienna/Austria;

• 28th of September to 3rd of October 2020: FemArt film residency, as participant with work in progress documentary “FOLK!”, Bucharest/Romania;

• 15th to 24th of October 2019: Film Spring Open, Krakow/Poland, as participant in the Canon documentary group; co-director, co-cinematographer and co-editor of documentary haiku “KARMA”;

• 1st to 31st of August 2018: Aristoteles documentary film workshop, Baru-Mare/Romania, as co-director, editor and sound person of short documentary “Valley of the Wolf”;

• 17th to 21st of April 2018: participating film director at Visual Dramaturgy workshop with cinematographer Slawomir Idziak within Visegrad Film Forum- Bratislava/Slovakia-staging for camera with actors in creative working groups scenes from film “Three Colors: Blue” by Krzysztof Kieślowski;

• 15th to 30th of September 2017: Documentary film workshop at Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión, San Antonio de los Baños/Cuba, co-director of short documentary “Un camino entre pinceles”/”A Walk Among Paintbrushes”;

• 6th to 9th of October 2016: hands-on workshop fARAD on sound in film and documentary project development, within fARAD film festival Arad/Romania;

• 14th to 20th of March 2016: NISI MASA workshop-within Bucharest International Experimental Film Festival-as director, cinematographer and editor of short experimental documentary “Bucharest. A Documentary.”;
